Anthony Finkas

Anthony Finkas has been awarded the highest possible rating that an attorney can receive, the prestigious “A/V” rating by the evaluation firm of Martindale-Hubbel.  Only 2% of attorneys in the entire United States achieve this status.  He is a graduate of the School of Law at University of California, Davis and thereafter an adjunct professor of law.

Mr. Finkas is a criminal defense attorney with the Law Firm of Honeychurch & Finkas in Fairfield, California.  He has been described as “Bar none - one of the top trial attorneys in Northern California”.  (Davis Enterprise) He has successfully represented defendants in all types and levels of criminal cases, from basic misdemeanor DUI cases to complex and serious felonies.  His cases have also included “high profile” matters which have generated considerable local, regional, and national media interest, including the NBC Today Show, ABC Nightline, as well as all network nightly news programs.

Mr. Finkas has won acquittals and favorable resolutions in hundreds of cases, including capitol offenses.  His particular expertise and unique success in sexual offense cases, as well as DUI cases, both of which require specialized training and expertise, is unparalleled.

Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Finkas is also heavily involved in voluntary community activities, including youth sports.  He was also a member of the Fairfield Planning commission for eight years.

Prior to his law career, Mr. Finkas played college baseball at the University of San Francisco and semi-pro baseball for San Francisco’s New Pisa Blues.  He remains an avid baseball fan, annually attending Spring Training for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s.
